Find The Chapel And You Will Find Us
We source all our produce locally where possible. We have a number of suppliers locally in West Cork supplying us with the freshest and best ingredients for us to prepare for you.
Being a local neighbourhood restaurant we are determined to support local growers, producers & farmers. One of the ways we hope to achieve this is to use as much locally grown and reared produce on our menus. Below is a list of the local suppliers we currently use. If you have a product you would like us to use please don't be shy, just contact us!
Most of our dairy comes from this fantastic West Cork company. People often take dairy produce for granted as we use it so often – not with these dairy products. Take a minute the next time you have a glass of Clona milk or butter your toast, this is the best diary in the world and we’re very proud of it. The heritage and tradition of Cork dairy farming is continued in the Clóna products that you find in our restuarant.
The Toonsbridge Dairy began production in 2011, but was the culmination of a two year adventure between Real Olive founder, Toby Simmonds, and his neighbouring farmer Johnny Lynch. One of the stand-out products and companies to emerge from Cork in the past five years. Their mozerella just keeps getting better and better.
Based in Union Hall, West Cork Glenmar Shellfish have the freshest fish and that means so much to our Chef Kev. It just means we can simply but exquisitely serve the athlantic fish caught off our West Cork coast. There has been an ambitious move by Glenmar to maximise the quality of the seafood product, investing in new product range of Prawn, Monk and Squid for freezing on board of the vessels.
The Real Olive Company
Established in 1993 in Cork’s “English Market”, Toby Simmonds took a small stall at the Princes Street end of the market. The stall began with just ten varieties of olives and a few other Mediterranean foods. A super producer and supplier of who go to huge lengths to source products that are natural and not packed with additives.
Hassett’s Artisan Bakery
Michael Hassett an Artisan Master Baker established his first bakery in 1984 originally in Donnybrook Douglas supplying wholesale confectionery to retailers. Michael’s burger baps are just perfect to compliment Dan Moloney’s juicy beef for our classic burgers. Proper soakage with provenance!
Niall and Ross have made this company into a huge success with quality at the heart of everything they do . They deserve so much credit for the quality and consistency of their products!

Our Wine @ Chapel Steps
Our Wine List has been chosen together with our supplier Tindal Wines who share the same passion & commitment to quality as we do. Tindal Wine Merchants are a family owned and operated specialist wine importer who have been supplying wines to the trade in Ireland since 2004. In that time they have forged an enviable reputation as a dynamic wine supplier with high levels of service, knowledge and support. Quality is at the heart of everything they do, and provenance is the key word in their relentless search for the best wines - to that end they source, select and estate bottled wines from producers Worldwide.
